Iran warns of imminent attack on Israel
Iran has warned that it intends to attack Israel, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said.
The warning from Tehran, he said, was conveyed through Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
"The world should expect Iran to pay a price for any aggressive action it takes," Katz added.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto wrote on his Facebook page that the crisis in the Middle East could escalate into a war between Israel and Iran, Gazeta.ru wrote.
"Today I spoke by phone with my Israeli counterpart Israel Katz and Iranian counterpart Ali Bagheri Kiani, conversations with whom unfortunately confirmed once again that we are on the brink," he wrote.
The diplomat emphasised the importance of preventing a full-scale war in the Middle East region.
Earlier on August 5, Iran issued a warning of danger to civilian aircraft (NOTAM), it affects the centre, west and northwest of the country.
