Israel maintains restrictions on return to border villages in Lebanon
The Israel Defence Forces have issued a renewed warning to Lebanese civilians, urging them not to return to villages in southern Lebanon amid what they describe as a fragile ceasefire situation.
According to Caliber.Az, the statement was made by IDF spokesperson Colonel Avichay Adraee on the social media platform X.

“We reiterate that in accordance with the ceasefire agreement, the Israel Defense Forces continue to hold their positions in southern Lebanon, despite ongoing Hezbollah terrorist activity,” Adraee said.
“We again warn that for your safety and the safety of your family members, until further notice you are prohibited from crossing the line passing through the mentioned villages and their surroundings,” he said, adding a map showing the IDF-designated security zone.
“Also, it is prohibited to approach the area of the Litani River, Wadi al-Salouqi, and Saluki (as well as returning to a number of villages),” he added.
The warning comes as Lebanese authorities report that more than 1.2 million people have been displaced due to the Israeli military offensive in Lebanon.
