Israel thwarts Iranian arms smuggling plot to militants in Judea, Samaria PHOTO/VIDEO
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) have announced the interception of a significant shipment of advanced weaponry from Iran, reportedly intended for militants in Judea and Samaria.
The weapons were allegedly destined for militants based in Jenin, Caliber.Az reports per Israeli media.
The seized arsenal includes:

33 anti-personnel mines described as “improvised Claymores,” likely Iranian M18-1 copies of the American design, along with wireless activation systems;
-
40 standard Claymore mines with detonators, possibly of American origin;
-
30 RPG-7, RPG-18, and RPG-22 rocket-propelled grenade launchers, potentially of Russian manufacture;
-
Three 107mm rockets (type unspecified);
-
Two 60mm mortars and 20 mortar shells;
-
Six M16 assault rifles and one M4 rifle with ammunition;
-
Seven Hunter sniper rifles (manufacturer unspecified);
-
37 pistols, including Glock and XD-9 models.
Israeli intelligence reports identify the suppliers as Unit 4000, a special operations division of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanded by Javad Ghafari, and Unit 18840, a special operations branch of the Quds Force operating in Syria under the command of Essar Bakri.
