Israel won’t stop until “all goals” in Gaza achieved, Netanyahu tells Trump

On the night of July 9, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held his second meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The meeting lasted about an hour and a half. No media representatives were present, and no statements were issued to the press after the meeting concluded, Caliber.Az reports, citing Israeli media.

Following the meeting, Netanyahu stated, “We focused on efforts to free the hostages. We will not waver for a minute. We are determined to achieve all our goals: to free all the hostages — both alive and deceased — to dismantle Hamas’s military and political capabilities, and thereby ensure that the Gaza Strip no longer poses a threat to Israel.”

The prime minister added, “We also discussed the consequences and prospects of the great victory we achieved over Iran. This opens up opportunities to expand the circle of peace and broaden the Abraham Accords. We are working on this with full commitment.”

For the record, approximately 50 hostages are still held in Gaza, with around 20 believed alive, following Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack that killed 1,200 and abducted 251 Israelis.
