Suspect detained after gunfire outside Serbian parliament

Police have arrested a 70-year-old man who opened fire outside the Serbian parliament building in Belgrade.
The suspect allegedly shot and wounded a 57-year-old man in the thigh, then set fire to one of the tents belonging to supporters of President Aleksandar Vučić, which had been set up in front of the parliament, and threw several bullets into the flames, Caliber.Az reports via Kurir.
The incident occurred on the square in front of the parliament, where the victim was taken to the hospital, but is not in a life-threatening condition, according to doctors.
Police, firefighters, and a prosecutor from the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office of Belgrade arrived at the scene following reports of the fire.
