Israeli airstrikes hit Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut suburb video
The Israel Defence Forces said it had destroyed ten command centres belonging to Hezbollah in the Dahieh district, a suburb of Beirut, during overnight operations.
According to the Israeli military’s press service, the strikes were carried out as part of a broader campaign targeting Hezbollah’s military infrastructure across Lebanon.
The Israeli Air Force conducted a series of overnight attacks that, according to the statement, destroyed dozens of rocket launchers and killed members of the organisation who were allegedly preparing to launch rockets toward Israel.
The military said that within a span of about 30 minutes, ten command facilities were struck in the Dahieh area. These included intelligence centres and a headquarters used by Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Unit.
The Israeli military also announced the start of a new wave of airstrikes targeting sites in Tehran.
