Israeli army uses riot control measures to disperse rallies in Gaza
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) are using riot control measures to stop residents of the Gaza Strip who evacuated to the south from returning to the northern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military opens warning fire, preventing the movement of refugees to the northern Gaza Strip, NEWSru.co.il reports.
The Hamas terrorist organisation is seeking to use the humanitarian ceasefire to return as many evacuees as possible to northern Gaza, thereby increasing the threat to IDF which is forced to adhere to the ceasefire regime.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has soared to 14,854, the government media office in the blockaded enclave said on November 23.
“The victims include 6,150 children and over 4,000 women, while more than 36,000 people have been injured.”
Around 7,000 people remain unaccounted for, including more than 4,700 children, the media office said.
