ISW names five causes of explosions in Crimea
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) has voiced several reasons for the explosions in occupied Crimea.
However, it is currently impossible to confirm any of them accurately, korrespondent.net informs citing the ISW report.
Analysts believe that there are currently no approved sources to independently verify whether Russian air defences shot down a Ukrainian drone and whether there was any UAV in Kerch or in the area of the Belbek airbase near Sevastopol.
Experts voiced several reasons for the origin of the explosions: the attack by the AFU, the actions of Ukrainian intelligence, the Russians' mishandling of their equipment, the successful actions of Russian air defences, and the emotional reaction of Russian servicemen.
It is assumed that Ukrainian forces are likely to continue their campaign of strikes against Russian military facilities in occupied Crimea in order to worsen Russian logistical capabilities and cut up the enemy's support for operations on the western bank of the Dnieper River.
As reported, a series of explosions in Crimea continued the night before.
