Kyiv discloses locations of most intense battles in Ukraine
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi has named the areas where Russian troops are most actively attacking.
He made the statement on his Telegram channel on November 14, RBC-Ukraine reports.
"The situation at the front is stable and controlled. Despite the fierce resistance of the occupying forces, the defence forces continue offensive actions in the Kharkiv direction," Zaluzhnyi said in a telephone conversation with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley.
According to the commander-in-chief, the Russian Armed Forces are actively attacking the borders of Belohorivka-Soledar-Bakhmut-Mayorsk and Avdiivka-Polosnoe-Vodiane-Peski-Marinka-Pavlovka but has no success. The Ukrainian Armed Forces hold the defence thanks to the resilience of advanced units and combat-ready reserves.
"The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues to concentrate efforts on achieving strategic objectives to stabilise the situation in certain operational zones, conduct further offensive actions to de-occupy the entire country and prevent the enemy from breaking through in areas of a likely offensive," he added.
