Lankaran nominated as candidate for "Youth Capital of the Turkic World 2024" title
The Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) has accepted Azerbaijan's proposal to nominate the city of Lankaran as a candidate for the title of "Youth Capital of the Turkic World 2024".
Caliber.Az reports that OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliyev made the announcement on his X page.

He noted that yesterday a meeting of Youth and Sports Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Basgal settlement of Ismayilli district of Azerbaijan.
The meeting considered the initiatives of the OTS, announced an action plan for the future and agreed on the proposal to nominate the city of Lankaran as a candidate for the title of "Youth Capital of the Turkic World 2024".
