Lithuania announces new military aid to Ukraine
Lithuania has announced the transfer of new military aid to Ukraine. In particular, NASAMS missiles and drones.
In the near future, Lithuania will transfer NASAMS surface-to-air missile systems, drones, logistical equipment, cots and many other military assistance to Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the press service of the Lithuanian Defence Ministry.
In addition to transferring military equipment, Lithuania will also continue to train Ukrainian soldiers, provide medical care and rehabilitation, consult experts, and contribute to international funds to help Ukraine.
The ministry noted that in the first seven months of this year, Lithuania's military aid to Ukraine included Mi-8 helicopters, L-70 anti-aircraft guns with ammunition, M113 armoured personnel carriers, millions of rounds of cartridges and ammunition for grenade launchers.
