Media: Drone factory hit by Iranian strike in Israel "beyond repair"
A drone manufacturing facility in Israel has sustained severe damage following an Iranian missile strike, rendering it beyond repair, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.
The strike, which reportedly took place on Thursday, directly hit a plant in Petah Tikva, near Tel Aviv. The facility belongs to the company “Aerosol” and was recently acquired by “Wolorex.”
While the full extent of the destruction has not yet been disclosed, the report indicates that the facility suffered significant structural and technical damage. “Wolorex” is currently assessing the consequences of the strike, including its impact on industrial and commercial operations.
According to the publication, the plant was involved not only in drone production but also in other undisclosed military technologies.
The Israeli military has not yet commented on the aftermath of the attack.
On the same day, Yedioth Ahronoth and Israel’s Channel 12 also reported damage to buildings in Haifa and Nahariya in northern Israel, following a simultaneous missile attack launched from Iran and Lebanon.
Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties, while authorities continue to assess the damage and carry out recovery efforts.
