Media: Russian S-400 systems pose main threat to F-16s handed over to Ukraine

Russian air defence systems S-400 pose the main threat to F-16 aircraft in Ukraine.

"The main threat to them is the long-range surface-to-air missiles S-400,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Business Insider.

It notes that in addition to missiles launched by S-400 complexes, the danger to the fighters transferred to Ukraine is posed by Russian aircraft that are over the territory of the Russian Federation and launch air-to-air missiles with long-range into Ukrainian airspace.

As the authors of the article stressed, the new AFU fighters will have to fly at very low altitudes to hide from Russian radars.
