Moldovan special forces start drills with military from Romania, US, UK
The soldiers of the Moldovan National Army will train alongside special forces from Romania, the USA and the United Kingdom at the international exercise "JCET-2023" (Joint Combined Exchange Training).
The drills, which take place at the training centres of the National Army between March 27 and April 7, aim at joint training and exchange of experience between the soldiers of the Moldovan, Romanian, American and British special forces, according to the website of the Moldovan Defence Ministry.
According to exercise’s scenario, the soldiers of the four armies will perform specific and advanced shooting sessions, parachuting, as well as field training exercises.
The exercise "Joint Combined Exchange Training" is carried out in accordance with the training plan of the National Army for 2023.
The service members from the Moldovan National Army Special Forces have been participating in JCET since 2009.
