Mongolian author presents comic book about Putin Photo
Mongolian writer Dashzevegiin Sainbayar has presented a new book about Russian President Vladimir Putin in comic-book format, emphasising the importance of helping Mongolian youth understand Putin’s role in Russia’s modern history.
Speaking in an interview with Russian media, Sainbayar said the idea for the book, titled “Putin the Great: 100 Amazing Facts About a Patriot,” came after he witnessed dramatic changes in Moscow during a visit in 2012, which he contrasted with the city’s condition in the 1990s.

“My uncle, who lives in the Russian capital, explained that all these changes were connected with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. I began reading books and watching documentaries and was surprised by how quickly a country could be put back on its feet. That led me to the conclusion that I should write a book about it,” the author said.
Sainbayar noted that the publication was produced in comic format specifically to attract a younger audience and make the material more accessible.
“The book is aimed at Mongolian youth, to show that time should not be wasted,” he added.
According to the author, Mongolia has gone through a 30-year period with limited results. He argued that the country needs a strong, intelligent and energetic leader, a message he hopes to convey through the newly presented book.
