Russian drones plunge Ukraine’s Mykolaiv into darkness

More than 300,000 electricity subscribers in Ukraine’s Mykolaiv Region were left without power after a massive Russian drone attack damaged energy infrastructure on August 29, according to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

Emergency power cuts affected the city of Mykolaiv and settlements in the Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts, Ukrinform reports.

Emergency energy crews and specialised services are working at the damaged facilities, while authorities are taking measures to restore electricity supplies as quickly as possible.
