Vučić: Serbia to unveil armed combat robots in two weeks

Serbia will unveil domestically produced combat robots equipped with modern weapons in two weeks, President Aleksandar Vučić said on Saturday, August 29.

“You will see them in action in 15 days. I proudly announce this to you. You will see them, and not only walking, but also using weapons, very serious weapons,” Vučić told reporters at the opening of a factory operated by Chinese company Minth in the city of Šabac.

Vučić previously said Serbia would soon adopt a strategy for the robotisation of its armed forces and increase production of military drones.
