Musk asks Twitter's data engineers to print out codes for review
Shortly after Elon Musk's controversial Twitter takeover was finalized, Bloomberg reported that the new CEO called his team of Tesla engineers in to review the social media platform’s code.
Several Tesla engineers were called to the San Francisco headquarters to be shown the company’s code the company’s code so that "they could assess and explain to Musk what the company needs", the report said.
Bloomberg also noted that Twitter’s code was frozen around the time when the acquisition was being officially formalized in an attempt to ensure nobody interfering with it.
As Futurism reported, the new Twitter CEO announced on October 28 that the company will form a content moderation council "with widely diverse viewpoints". He said that no major content decisions or account reinstatements will happen before the council takes a decision on it.
