Musk сlaims Zuckerberg turned down battle at Colosseum
Elon Musk has countered Mark Zuckerberg’s claims about the battle of the billionaires, revealing that it was actually Zuckerberg who declined the fight at Italy’s Colosseum.
Musk took to social media to explain his side of the story, stating that after both men initially agreed to the fight, Rome offered the Colosseum as the venue. However, Zuckerberg flat-out refused to participate, Clayton County Register reports.
Musk then offered an alternative suggestion, proposing to fight in Zuckerberg’s backyard Octagon instead. He described it as a “safe space” for the battle. Unfortunately, Zuckerberg claimed to be “travelling,” preventing the fight from taking place in his backyard.
On the other hand, Zuckerberg had a different take on the situation, mentioning on Threads that he was moving on from the battle. According to him, he didn’t believe Musk was serious about the fight from the beginning. He offered a specific date for the fight and even had Dana White, the President of the UFC, willing to organise the event as a legitimate competition for charity.
However, Musk failed to confirm a date and later claimed to need surgery, suggesting a practice round in Zuckerberg’s backyard instead.
Despite conflicting accounts, it is clear that both Musk and Zuckerberg were unable to come to an agreement and the battle of the billionaires remains unresolved.
