NATO commends South Korea for backing Ukraine

Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer extended his gratitude to South Korea for its significant support to Ukraine as he met with the country’s Defence Minister Kim Yong Hyun. 

This acknowledgment comes as the global security landscape continues to evolve rapidly in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

According to a statement from the South Korean Defence Ministry, Bauer highlighted the substantial contributions made by Seoul in bolstering European security and peace through its assistance to Ukraine.

The NATO official commended South Korea’s efforts, emphasizing the importance of international solidarity in addressing global security challenges.
