Rescuers struggle to recover bodies after massive Russian attack on Kyiv updated / photo
Three people were killed in Kyiv following a massive shelling on the night of November 14, and rescuers are still unable to retrieve the bodies from beneath the rubble, according to RBC-Ukraine, citing the city’s mayor, Vitaly Klitschko.
“According to preliminary information, three people died in the capital. We are clarifying the details, as rescuers have not yet been able to recover the bodies,” Klitschko said.
In total, 26 residents were injured in the attack, including two children aged 7 and 10. Nine people have been hospitalised, including a pregnant woman, while the others received treatment either on the spot or as outpatients.

On the night of November 14, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, with Kyiv as the primary target.
The assault involved Shahed-type drones, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and even Kinzhals, according to Ukrainian media.
Multiple neighbourhoods in Kyiv were struck, including areas with multi-story buildings. The attack has so far resulted in one confirmed death and over 20 injuries across the city and the surrounding region.
The latest update from Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv city state administration, confirmed that the fatality was an elderly woman in the Desnyansky district. In total, 24 people were injured, including a pregnant woman and a 10-year-old boy.
Shortly after midnight on November 14, air raid alarms were sounded across Ukraine due to the threat of Kinzhals. Reports also indicated the launch of Kalibr missiles. In addition to these strikes, Russian forces deployed combat drones, including Shahed and Gerbera types, among others.
