Poland declines to provide additional Patriot missiles to Ukraine
Poland is not currently planning to provide Ukraine with additional missiles for Patriot air defence systems, according to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Speaking to journalists after a meeting of the “Coalition of the Willing” leaders in Paris, Tusk was asked whether Warsaw would supply additional Patriot missiles to Kyiv.
“We are not planning this type of assistance for now,” Tusk said in response.
Poland recently confirmed the transfer of a small number of PAC-3 MSE interceptor missiles for Patriot air defence systems to Ukraine.
In early July 2026, Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz officially acknowledged the delivery of an unspecified but marginal quantity of these advanced missiles, which occurred at the request of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and the US Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
This limited transfer has sparked domestic political debate in Poland, with opposition figures criticising the government for depleting national defences without sufficient parliamentary oversight.
