Russian air defence forces shoot down Ukrainian drone near Moscow

The Russian Defence Ministry has said that Russian air defences shot down a fixed-wing Ukrainian drone above the Moscow Region’s Podolsk urban district on November 29.

"The Kyiv’s attempt to carry out a terror attack involving a fixed-wing drone was thwarted at 07:30 a.m. Moscow time (4:30 a.m. GMT - TASS) on November 29. On-duty air defence units destroyed the Ukrainian drone above the territory of the Moscow Region’s Podolsk urban district," the ministry said, according to TASS.

There were no casualties or damage at the site where the debris fell, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said, citing preliminary information. Emergency teams are working at the scene.
