A Russian drone struck a residential building in Odesa during the night, injuring two people, local authorities have reported.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the city’s military administration, said the two-storey building sustained heavy damage, including a collapsed roof and damaged floor structures, while the blast shattered nearby windows, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
Vehicles in the vicinity were also affected by the shockwave.
The attack additionally damaged a school and a kindergarten, and a drone strike on an administrative building at an industrial site sparked a fire.
Emergency services rescued four people from the affected areas. Two women who sustained injuries were treated at the scene.
Moreover, Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Polohy district have killed three people and injured 11 others, local authorities said.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that Russian forces carried out 790 strikes across 32 settlements over 24 hours.
The attacks included 11 airstrikes, 466 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types—mostly FPV drones—six rocket artillery strikes, and 307 artillery bombardments.
Officials said at least 75 incidents of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure were recorded.
The Ukrainian authorities continue to assess the impact of the attacks, which come amid ongoing tensions in the region.
