Russian drone strike injures 19 in Ukraine's Vyshgorod
Late on November 29, Russian forces carried out a drone strike on the town of Vyshgorod in the Kyiv region, injuring 19 people, including four children.
Eleven of the injured have been hospitalised with varying degrees of trauma, including burns, shrapnel wounds, limb injuries, and poisoning from smoke inhalation, Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, said on Telegram, per Caliber.Az.
Kalashnyk confirmed that one person was killed in the attack. Emergency responders have extinguished a fire in a high-rise building targeted by the strike, while psychologists and local authorities are providing support to the affected residents. Temporary accommodations are being arranged for those displaced.
The assault also caused damage to two additional high-rise buildings, 14 private homes, one local enterprise, and seven vehicles, Kalashnyk added. Authorities continue to provide assistance and assess the full extent of the destruction.
