Russian drone strike on bus in Ukraine's Nikopol kills 3, injures 16 Photo
A Russian drone strike on a city bus in Nikopol, in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, has killed three people and injured 16 others.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, confirmed that eight of the injured were hospitalised. Three men, aged 58, 63, and 73, are in critical condition. Others sustained moderate injuries, including blast and shrapnel wounds, fractures, and head trauma, Caliber.Az reports.

According to authorities, the attack was carried out by a first-person-view (FPV) drone that struck a route bus in the city center as it was approaching a bus stop. Passengers were inside the vehicle at the time, and civilians were also present at the stop.
Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said emergency responders and medical teams arrived promptly at the scene and managed to rescue seven people trapped in the aftermath.
Ukrainian officials described the strike as a deliberate attack on civilians. An investigation is underway, with authorities documenting all details of the incident.
