Modi, Pashinyan discuss defence, wider India-Armenia cooperation On sidelines of SCO summit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he held a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Bishkek.

Modi described the meeting as “wonderful” and said India-Armenia cooperation was set to grow in defence, IT, space, education, pharmaceuticals and other areas.

He also said the two countries were equally certain to deepen trade and investment ties in the future.
