Russians reportedly attack Kyiv with cruise missiles, air defence downs all targets

On the night of 12-13 June, the Russians attacked Kyiv with Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, and air defence forces destroyed all targets.

The statement came from Serhii Popko, head of Kyiv City Military Administration, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

"Day 475 of the full-scale invasion. Another air attack on the capital. Preliminary information indicated that the enemy used Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, launched as usual by Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea, to attack Kyiv," he said.

Popko noted that all Russian targets in the airspace around Kyiv had been detected and successfully destroyed by air defence assets and personnel.

So far, there has been no information on casualties or damage, as he said.
