An operational meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Azerbaijan, focusing on organising service activities and ensuring public safety in the liberated territories.
The online meeting was chaired by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov. Discussions centered on the current operational situation in the region, the performance of personnel, and cooperation with the local population, Caliber.Az reports.
Officials highlighted the importance of maintaining public order, protecting residents and tourists, safeguarding property, and continuing educational and preventive initiatives as key priorities in these areas.
A special emphasis was placed on fire safety amid the hot and dry summer conditions, which have increased the risk of wildfires in forests and open spaces. The meeting reviewed enhanced fire prevention measures to address this heightened risk.
Heads of relevant departments were instructed to intensify control efforts, monitor vulnerable zones closely, and continue raising public awareness about the dangers posed by careless fire use.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safety and stability in the liberated territories through coordinated and proactive measures.
