Suspects linked to Moscow terrorist attack detained in Tajikistan
Russian security forces, in collaboration with Tajikistan's special services, have apprehended nine individuals suspected of potential involvement in the recent terrorist attack at Moscow's Crocus City Hall.
The detainees are also believed to have ties to the "Islamic State" extremist group, as reported by sources within the country's special services, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.
"Nine residents of Vahdat district were detained for their connection with the perpetrators of the March 22 terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall and their connection with the IS terrorist organization," the agency's interlocutor said
Russian law enforcement officials stationed in Dushanbe played a crucial role in facilitating the arrest of the suspects, underscoring the collaborative efforts between Russia and Tajikistan to combat terrorism and preserve regional security.
