Saudi defence minister arrives in Tehran for bilateral talks Ahead of Iran–US talks

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defence, Prince Khalid bin Salman, arrived in Tehran on April 17 for an official visit.

During his stay, Prince Khalid stated on X that he is expected to hold a series of meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and addressing issues of mutual concern, Caliber.Az reports.

The visit comes just days after a phone conversation between Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi. 

The two diplomats reportedly discussed ongoing regional developments and potential efforts to address shared challenges.
