According to the report, a total of 158 members of six distinct organized crime groups, including several key figures were apprehended.
The operation involved both operational and search measures, leading to the seizure of various illicit items. These included unlicensed firearms, significant quantities of illegal drugs, and a large cache of cheques and bills of exchange, which are believed to have been linked to the criminal activities of the groups.
The authorities have not disclosed further specifics regarding the nature of the criminal enterprises involved, but the operation highlights the Turkish government's ongoing commitment to cracking down on organized crime and ensuring public safety.
The coordinated effort to dismantle these crime groups is seen as a major step in Türkiye’s fight against criminal syndicates operating within its borders, with law enforcement agencies emphasizing their continued vigilance in addressing such issues.
