Taliban destroys all catapults used for drug trafficking in Afghanistan
Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan Dmitry Zhirnov has said that the Taliban have destroyed all catapults in Afghanistan with a bowstring for drug trafficking across the border.
According to him, the catapults stood on the borders with Iran and Pakistan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
With the help of these devices, drug traffickers threw drugs to their accomplices across the border.
The ambassador said that these catapults were the size of gallows with a rubber sling stretched between the bars. According to Zhirnov, "these are kind of symbols of the pro-Western proxy regime overthrown by the Taliban, under which Afghanistan was turned into a global heroin factory."
The diplomat also described how drug traffickers moved their product. They put the drugs into a bowstring and ran ten metres down the hill to pull it tighter, and the load flew a long distance. All the catapults were found and destroyed by the Taliban.
