Tax benefits for import of Starlink terminals expire in Ukraine

The State Customs Service of Ukraine reported that the effect of tax incentives for the import of Starlink satellite Internet generators has ended.

As Gazeta.Ru reports, this is stated on the website of the Ukrainian department.

“According to the law, on May 1, 2023, the period of exemption of imports of certain goods from VAT and import duties, and in some cases from excise tax, ends,” the message says.

It is noted that from May 1, the grace period for the import of certain goods has ended. Customs duties will have to be paid when importing power generating sets and parts for them, as well as transformers, batteries and separators for access to Starlink.
