Turkish MP in PACE: European Parliament’s biased decision on Azerbaijan - invalid document
Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Nationalist Movement Party, and MP of the Turkish Grand National Assembly from Erzurum Kamil Aydin has said that the biased resolution adopted by the European Parliament regarding Azerbaijan is an invalid document.
“As most of 705 members of the European Parliament are pro-Armenian ones, positive decisions regarding Türkiye have been never adopted,” Aydin, who represents the fraternal country in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, told Report’s bureau in Ankara.
He stressed that along with the problems of his country, he always voiced the problems of Azerbaijan at the meetings of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA).
“I am not surprised by the decision of the European Parliament because it was expected from this pro-Armenian legislative body. All decisions taken by the European Parliament so far are anti-Turkish ones. The resolution they put forward a few days ago is nonsense and irrelevant fiction. Therefore, this resolution has no force, it is invalid,” he added.
