The ECO Summit, hosted by Azerbaijan from July 3 to 4, represents a pivotal event aimed at advancing economic integration and climate action efforts within the member states.
In the days leading up to the summit, ECO Week took place across multiple Azerbaijani cities, featuring a series of significant forums designed to deepen cooperation in key sectors.
On July 1, the city of Aghdam welcomed young leaders to the ECO Youth Forum, where discussions centred on inclusive development and climate resilience. The following day, Lachin hosted the Women’s Forum, emphasising gender equality and empowerment as essential components of sustainable growth.
Meanwhile, on July 2, Fuzuli was the venue for the 6th ECO Business Forum, which gathered business leaders and policymakers to explore trade, investment, and economic connectivity — all critical drivers for the region’s sustainable prosperity.
