Azerbaijan, Türkiye synchronise stance on regional developments
Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, held talks with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan during his working visit to Saudi Arabia, according to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry cited by Caliber.Az.
During the meeting, the two ministers exchanged views on the current security environment and recent developments in the region.
Both sides underscored the importance of maintaining regional stability, preventing further escalation of tensions, and upholding the norms and principles of international law, including respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.
Bayramov and Fidan also highlighted the significant role of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye alliance in promoting peace and security in the region. They emphasised the need for continued joint and coordinated efforts to effectively address ongoing challenges.
