Azerbaijani–Turkish jets secure air superiority in “Anatolian Phoenix – 2026” VIDEO

Azerbaijani Su-25 attack aircraft and Turkish F-16 fighter jets have carried out joint missions aimed at achieving air superiority during the international search and rescue exercise “Anatolian Phoenix – 2026” held in Konya, Türkiye.

The latest phase of the exercise successfully concluded with the participation of Su-25 aircraft, F-16 jets, and T-70 helicopters. The drills focused on tactical operations designed to secure air dominance and provide air support for the search and rescue of crew members following a simulated aircraft crash in hostile territory, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.

Officials noted that the high level of coordination between participating forces significantly reduced operational risks in the exercise area and enhanced the overall effectiveness of rescue efforts. Azerbaijani Air Force pilots reportedly executed their assigned tasks professionally, demonstrating strong performance throughout the operation.

The exercise also involved Azerbaijani Air Force pilots, parachute and search-and-rescue specialists, air controllers, technical personnel, and supporting aviation assets, underscoring the country’s comprehensive participation in the multinational training event.
