Azerbaijani military police delegation visits Bulgaria PHOTO

A high-level delegation from the Military Police Department of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defence has completed a working visit to Sofia as part of the ongoing program to develop bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence told Caliber.Az that the delegation, led by Major General Elgun Aliyev, head of the Military Police Department, visited the regional unit and the Military Police Department of the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence. 

The guests were given detailed briefings on the organisation of daily service, command and control mechanisms.

Special attention was paid to the tasks and responsibilities of the Bulgarian military police in both peacetime and wartime conditions, as well as their practical experience and role within the NATO framework.

Representatives from Azerbaijan and Bulgaria discussed the current state of cooperation and prospects for its development, emphasising the importance of experience exchange, enhancing professional training, and expanding opportunities for collaboration.
