Turkmen leader presents Akhal-Teke horse to Azerbaijani president

On August 22, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended a special showcase of Akhal-Teke horses, accompanied by a performance from Turkmenistan’s national “Galkynysh” equestrian group in the city of Turkmenbashi.

The domestic media reports that at the conclusion of the event, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Turkmen people, presented President Aliyev with an Akhal-Teke horse named “Taus.”
