Ukraine extinguishes all fires from latest Russian strikes, recovery underway PHOTO
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES) confirmed all fires caused by the latest Russian strikes have been extinguished, with Interior Ministry forces coordinating cleanup and recovery.
The capital suffered the most damage, with 40 structures damaged, including 20 residential buildings, Caliber.Az reports, citing SES’s Telegram channel.
Russian attacks also targeted Lviv, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, and Cherkasy regions. Nearly 500 rescuers and 100 pieces of equipment were deployed to deal with the aftermath.
In Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, Russian forces struck a high-rise building while emergency responders and medical personnel were on site, killing one medical worker and injuring five SES rescuers, four medical workers, and one police officer.
In the Dniprovskyi district of the capital, drone strikes left three people dead; two victims have been identified, while one remains missing.
