Houthis claim to have shot down Saudi F-15 jet over Yemen

Yemen’s Houthi movement has claimed that it shot down a Saudi F-15 fighter jet over Marib using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile, without providing evidence of the alleged incident.

The Houthis did not release photographs of wreckage or provide details about the pilot. Saudi Arabia has not confirmed the reported loss, Clash Report informs.

The group also claimed that it forced other Saudi aircraft formations to withdraw from the area.

According to the Houthis, Saudi warplanes carried out more than 450 airstrikes during the week, although the claim has not been independently verified.
