Ukraine's accession to NATO - irreversible process UK’s foreign secretary says

UK’s Foreign Secretary David Lammy has said that Ukraine's accession to NATO is an irreversible process.

“We will support Ukraine's irreversible path towards NATO. Ukraine, with its resilient people, has a rightful place as part of Europe's security architecture. The UK has been one of the largest suppliers of military aid to Ukraine, has been training the Ukrainian Armed Forces and was the first European country to provide aid. Ukraine will always remember this brave leadership,” he said, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

“It is critical that Kyiv and London continue working together to increase the economic pressure on Russia. The G7 has been clear that Russia must pay the price for its illegal invasion. Together with our international partners, we will explore all lawful routes to using Russian assets, so Moscow pays the price,” he added.
