Ukraine says grain ship leaves Black Sea port despite Russian threat
A cargo ship carrying grain has left a southern Black Sea port despite a Russian threat to treat civilian vessels as potential military targets.
“Resilient Africa vessel with 3,000 tonnes of wheat has left Black Sea port and is heading towards Bosphorus. This is the first of two ships that entered the port of Chernomorsk last week along the established Navy ZSU temporary corridor for civilian ships. The second ship is in the port loading Ukrainian wheat for Egypt. The ships are under the flags of Liberia and Palau, and their crew consists of citizens of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Egypt and Ukraine,” Caliber.Az quotes Kubrakov as saying on his Facebook account.
Earlier on September 19, the western Ukrainian city of Lviv was rocked by blasts with local officials saying the Russian air attack caused a major fire at an industrial warehouse.
