Ukraine updates Russian military losses: nearly 70,000 manpower loss

Over the past day, on October 27, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated about 500 more Russian soldiers and officers. Moreover, 9 tanks and more than 10 armoured vehicles were also destroyed.

The figures were revealed in a summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine informs.

“The approximate total combat losses of the enemy on October 28 were:

   - personnel - about 69,700 (+480) people liquidated;
   - tanks - 2640 (+9) units;
   - armoured combat vehicles - 5378 (+14) units;
   - artillery systems - 1698 (+8) units;
   - multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) - 379 (+0) units;
   - air defence systems - 192 (+0) units;
   - aircraft - 272 (+1) units;
   - helicopters - 251 (+2) units;
   - UAV operational-tactical level - 1401 (+3) units;
   - cruise missiles - 351 (+0 units);
   - ships/boats - 16 (+0) units;
   - automotive equipment and tankers - 4088 (+10) units;
   - special equipment - 151 (+1) units,” the report reads.
