Ukrainian armed forces reportedly enters Kherson PHOTO/VIDEO
Residents of Ukraine’s Kherson city have reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) entered the city.
Defenders were seen in the Shumen neighborhood of Kherson, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the local publication Most.
The footage shows residents greeting the Ukrainian soldiers.
"The location is easily recognizable - it is the intersection of Lavreniev and Ivan Bogun streets in the Shumen microdistrict," the report said.
Residents of Kherson began to take to the streets with Ukrainian symbols. In particular, state flags have already been placed on the central Svoboda Square.

According to Ukrainska Pravda, the video shows a military man installing a yellow and blue flag on the building of the Main Directorate of the police of the region.

The facade of the building, the bars on the windows, and the ramp to the right of the entrance indicate that this is the police building on Lutheran Street, 4 - on the southeastern outskirts of Kherson.
