Ukrainian FM calls to refrain from listening to Russia's threats about F-16s

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has expressed confidence that Ukraine will still receive F-16 fighter jets and urged not to be afraid of the Kremlin's threatening statements.

His comment came in response to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's statement that Russia would consider providing Ukraine with Western fighter jets as a "nuclear threat,” European Pravda reports.

Kuleba said that "the only threat to Russia is the Ukrainian soldier" and it is the Ukrainian military that Putin and the Russian leadership should fear the most.

"Ukraine will receive F-16s as planned. And Russia will 'swallow' it, despite Lavrov's formidable rhetoric," Kuleba noted.
