Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has dismissed the notion of India playing a mediating role in potential talks with Russia, despite Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Ukraine.
In an interview with The New York Times, Kuleba emphasized that Kiev does not anticipate or seek mediation from New Delhi in its ongoing conflict with Moscow, Caliber.Az reports.
Kuleba acknowledged the significance of Modi's visit, calling it a "diplomatic breakthrough" for Ukraine.
The visit marks a notable step in enhancing bilateral relations and increasing international support for Ukraine. However, he made it clear that Ukraine does not view India as a mediator in future negotiations with Russia.
