According to Ukrayinska Pravda, this is stated in the statement of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in Telegram.

“X-101 missiles were produced from 1999 to 2013. Russian media reported on them as the pride of the latest high-precision Russian weapons.

“The result of the use of Kh-101 missiles by the occupiers during the hostilities in Ukraine disproved the declared effectiveness,” the Ukrainian intelligence statement said.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stressed that most of the X-101 missiles fired on the territory of Ukraine did not hit their intended targets. The reason for this may be that they are equipped with electronics developed in the 60s of the last century.

Ukrainian experts analyzed the guidance and navigation system of Kh-55 cruise missiles, as well as their modifications Kh-555 and Kh-101, and found out that modern guidance units were developed in 1960-1970.

They were then produced by the Voronezh Plant of Radio Components, the Minsk Plant Integral and other enterprises of the Soviet Union. As a result of the use of Kh-101 missiles by the occupiers during the hostilities in Ukraine, their declared effectiveness was disproved,” the Ukrainian intelligence statement said.
