Ukrainian president ousts NSDC chief, appoints replacement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has removed Oleksiy Danilov from his position as the head of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), as per a decree issued by the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The decree appoints Alexander Litvinenko as the new Secretary of the NSDC, replacing Danilov, Caliber.Az reports.

Prior to this appointment, Litvinenko served as the head of the foreign intelligence service.
